Abstract:

The paper shows the evidence of credit portfolio management and its relationship with banks’ financial performance. Monthly financial report of 7 joint venture commercial banks were used to analyze by comparing sector-wise portfolio management of bank's loan and its relationship with return on assets. Descriptive and fixed effect regression was used to analyze the panel data. It reveals that all the sectors have an impact on banks’ financial performance except consumption & others.
