Abstract:
Some furohydroxamic acids have been synthesized and screened for their possible antimicrobial activity biological profile like antibacterial activity against four different strain viz. Lactobacillus (gram-positive bacteria), Rhizobium, E.coli, Pseudomonas (gram-negative bacteria), and antifungal activity against three different fungal strains viz. Alternaria, curvularia, and Rhizoctonia by paper disc plate method have been studied.
