Abstract:

a process of neutron production s decay of the soil radon was simulated with Geant4 Monte Carlo toolkit. It is shown that such a source significantly weaker being compared with that of the cosmic ray albedo origin.

Keywords:

radon, soil, nuclear reaction, alpha-particle, neutron, Monte Carlo simulation
