Abstract:

Localization is a way to determine the location of sensor nodes. Localization is an essential process in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). This process is necessary to report the origin of events, routing and to answerquestions on the network coverage,assist group querying of sensors, etc. The information of exact physical location of the sensor nodes is useful for various applications like target tracking, intrusion detection, environmental monitoring and so on.This document is about the principles and algorithms that are used in determining the location of sensor nodes.
