Abstract:

The Venture Capital sector is the most important industry in the financial market today. The present study focuses on Challenges faced by Venture Capitalists and the reasons forshutting down the Venture Capital inIndia and also focusing on Venture Capital investment in different sectors in India. Using secondary dataresearchfound that which sectors of the economy attracting maximum venture capitalists investment in India. Research found that total investment made by Venture Capitalists in India on different sectors 37903 Million. Real Estate is the highest growing sector in Venture Capital investment, is the second largest recipient with an IT and telecommunications. Research can draw a suggestion the Venture Capital investment in service sector and Industrial products need to be encouraged. Conclusion found that sectors have a strong influence for Venture Capital investment.
