Abstract:

Resent years have witnessed growing research interest in human trafficking in Mongolia. The purpose of this study is to introduce current circumstance and legal framework of human trafficking in Mongolia. Most of this research focused on legal framework on this crime. Little research focused on current circumstance of this crime. To accomplish the purpose I analyzed legal framework of human trafficking and findings of the survey was conducted by the Center for Human Rights and Development Gender Equality Center, Human Security Policy Studies Center. In Mongolia, the issues of human trafficking regulated by the Constitutional Law, criminal law and criminal procedure law have been the main focus, so that there is little research to improve on legal framework of human trafficking and effectiveness of laws on human trafficking.
