Abstract:

Having chosen this book (Producing Islamic Knowledge: Transmission and dissemination in Western Europe), the reviewers ought to display the reasons. To begin with, the two words in the title Islamic and knowledge are related to the course “Islamization of Education” taught at International Islamic University for PHD students. In addition, it is about transmitting the Islamic knowledge and disseminating it in Western Europe; therefore ,it is a novel topic to us. Besides, the book is somehow new as it was published in 2011, so it is worthy to have a review on. Moreover, the book was written by nine well-educated people, and edited by two of them. Consequently, it contains various notions and novel information. Also, the readers will learn what has been written about producing Islamic knowledge in the Western Europe.
